Mostly a travel day today, starting with a leisurely morning exploring rock pools again after we checked out of the hotel. This time we definitely saw a lot more fishes in the rock pools, and even a really big star fish!
Eventually we headed towards Plettenberg bay, but we stopped along the way at the local farm cafe - Natures Way farm stall. There we had some of the best scones we have ever encountered! Yum! The girls also had a blast playing in the playground and on the ancient tractor.
We managed to get into Plettenberg bay around lunchtime and Mish found the ‘Outlook Deck’ restaurant where we had an awesome lunch. The best part of it, apart from the yummy food, as that we got to sit in the sun and enjoy a great view of the beach! After lunch we went down and had a lovely play on the beach. The girls are currently really big into making sand sculptures and today they made some fish, jellyfish and star fish. A very aquatic theme.
Before we headed to George, we strolled through the city and popped in/out of a few stores. You can definitely feel that Plett is more of a tourist/resort destination. It was never the less nice to walk through and see some different things.
Our next and final stop was our accommodation for the night in George. Nothing special as it is right next to the airport and we have an early flight tomorrow.
